Comments on DRA

First, let me introduce myself. I was raised in Rancho Cucamonga, California, with six siblings. Having a big family taught me a lot of valuable lessons and also instilled in me a love for people. In 2010 I moved to St George to attend college at Dixie State University. I was fortunate to play football and receive a great education. I graduated in 2015 with my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communication. My passion for sports has helped teach me a lot of life lessons. These lessons include teamwork, accountability, humility etc. One of the things that drew me to Diamond Ranch Academy was how they incorporate athletics and other extracurricular activities into treatment. I have worked at Diamond Ranch Academy for over three years. I started my journey at DRA as a youth development counselor and also helped coach football and wrestling. I was fortunate to be selected as a Program Director and enjoyed the one on one time I was able to spend with the students. Seeing students grab onto the lessons we teach and apply to them is a truly rewarding experience. On a personal note, I met my fiancée in college, and we have two beautiful children. My family means the world to me and I feel privileged to help other families through being involved in DRA.
