I originally come from Colorado and have recently moved from Salt Lake City to St. George; as often as I can I try to make trips back to visit family and be in the Rockies. I make getting outdoors a top priority, especially with my fiance, and we enjoy hiking, kayaking and biking, as well as more high-intensity activities like rock climbing, snowboarding (me)/skiing (him), and white water rafting. Life is short and meant to be lived to the fullest and I try to keep that in mind with every day I’m given. We also love traveling and have a long bucket list of destinations and adventures for after we are married. I love baking and cooking, spending time with my family, animals, 90’s alternative rock and reading. Ever since I started college I knew I wanted to be a therapist for teens, and I hope to eventually continue my education in a Cognitive Neuroscience Ph.D. program studying teen brain development and how it is affected by substances and incorporate my research into my therapy practice.
