1A Football State Championship: DRA vs Kanab 11.14.15

The Diamondback Football team from Diamond Ranch Academy returns to the 1A State Championship tomorrow afternoon, November 14th.

The DRA Diamondbacks and the Kanab Cowboys have quite a history. In the 1A semi-final game last season, Kanab held the lead for most of the game but the Diamondbacks scored two late touchdowns to rally for a 29 – 28 victory. And the Diamondbacks won 28 – 0 when the two teams met last month, despite starting the fourth quarter with only a 7 – 0 lead. Tomorrow’s state championship game could be just as exciting.

DRA’s Football team has posted an incredible and undefeated 2015 season, with the Diamondback defense not allowing a single touchdown since September 4th. Tomorrow, the 11-0 Diamondbacks battle the Cowboys for the title of State Champions.

The state championship game tomorrow afternoon between Diamond Ranch Academy and Kanab High School is being played on the campus of Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. Kickoff time is 1:30pm (MST). Tomorrow’s game will be broadcast by Utah news outlet KSL: Click here to watch live.
