“Friendships born on the field of athletic strife are the real gold of competition.
Awards become corroded, friends gather no dust.”
– Jesse Owens
Diamond Ranch Academy athletic programs benefit our female students’ lives. High school girls who play sports are more likely to graduate than those who do not. Girls who play sports have a more positive body image and experience higher psychological well-being. Girls who play sports have higher levels of confidence and self-esteem than those who do not.
The Lady Diamondback sports teams at Diamond Ranch Academy teach valuable life skills. When our girls work with coaches and teammates to win games and achieve goals, they learn how to be successful. Lady ‘Back athletes build confidence when practicing, improving, and achieving their goals. Sports at Diamond Ranch are also a feel-good activity because they help our girls get in shape and make new friends. And being on a team creates tight bonds between friends. Lady ‘Back athletes learn that their teammates and their coaches support each other — both on and off the field!
The number and interests of the girls currently enrolled at Diamond Ranch work together to determine whether each sport, in any given season, is played at the varsity level or simply for fun as a club or through the city league program.
