What separates good players from great ones is not so much ability as brain power and emotional equilibrium.
– Arnold Palmer

Welcome to Diamond Ranch Academy, home of the Diamondback Golf Team! Our golf team is a great addition to our sports programs here at DRA. Our student golfers are privileged to enjoy the immaculate Sand Hollow golf course, located just 1.5 miles from campus, ranked #1 in the state of Utah and #47 in the nation. As well as having this incredible golf course to play on, Diamondback golfers are instructed by a PGA Apprentice and Assistant Professional Instructor. Students are given the opportunity to refine their skills while learning valuable life lessons through their involvement in the team.

DRA Golf Instructor (Adam Jasperson)

Discovering his passion for Golf in 2003, Assistant Professional Adam Jasperson has since focused on developing his personal golf skills and teaching abilities. A Washington State native, Jasperson recognized his passion for the golf industry 10 years ago, and traded Seattle’s rain for Southern Utah’s sunshine.

Jasperson has been part of the Golf Course at Sand Hollow Resort for the past four years. He is a PGA apprentice and integral staff member, and his responsibilities vary from outside services management to tournament preparation, coordination, and execution.

According to him, “Golf is a game for everyone, and Sand Hollow has everything you need to improve all areas of your game.” Skilled in teaching private and group lessons to players of all skill levels, Jasperson believes instruction is the key to enjoying the game of golf and your time on the course. He currently lives in Hurricane with his wife and four children.
