No one does treatment like Diamond Ranch. We have pioneered a unique approach combining the benefits of a small, personalized program with the amenities and opportunities only a large campus can offer.
We have six treatment programs located on one 55-acre campus. This structure allows us to provide specific, customized care for our students in their individual program while still offering the best facilities to the whole campus. Students have access to significantly more resources than any other school.
The Whisper Creek program was designed to encourage, teach, and nurture emotional growth. Your daughter will develop trusting relationships with caring and supportive staff who will guide her through the healing process. She’ll make amazing, lifelong friends as she works on herself with girls who are battling similar challenges. Each girl’s individual needs are identified and met throughout the change process.

Academics
Whisper Creek utilizes a specialized academic approach designed to create confident and capable students. Students enjoy the support and guidance of certified teachers in each classroom, and mastery learning requires that all students get an 80% or better on assignments and tests. This ensures that students are mastering content before moving on. Because the curriculum is self-paced, students are able to progress faster in some subjects and take more time in others based on their individual needs. This provides for increased accountability and ownership in the learning process. Through this personalized system of instruction, Whisper Creek students learn to take accountability for their education and develop a love of learning. They leave DRA rich in credit and knowledge, with a vision for their academic future.
Accreditation
All academics at Whisper Creek are fully accredited through AdvancED, the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Utah State Office of Education. All credits acquired at Whisper Creek are recognized nationally and internationally and are fully transferable to universities, colleges, and high schools. Students who complete their senior year can leave Whisper creek with an accredited high school diploma.

Therapy
Your daughter will grow in maturity and emotional health as she participates in therapy at Whisper Creek. She’ll develop a trusting relationship with her individual therapist who will guide her through the journey of emotional discovery and healing. She’ll also learn to incorporate the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills of mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness into her life.
Through individual, group, and family therapy your daughter will learn to value herself. She will begin to understand her individual worth and develop a healthy sense of self, founded on core principles that are emphasized throughout students’ time at Diamond Ranch Academy. She’ll learn how to navigate complex relationships and social situations in a healthy manner. This includes choosing friends and boundary setting. As your daughter learns to value herself, she will naturally attract healthy relationships into her life.

Health and wellness play important roles in the lives of students at Diamond Ranch Academy.
